Unchangeable Aperture
Both Pinhole Pro S and Pinhole Pro X have fixed aperture, meaning that the F/Stop is unchangeable. But they are not defective but designed for purposes. The reason to set a single aperture on Pinhole Pro S is to build an affordable and starter-friendly lens for pinhole shooting. As a customer oriental brand, we always listen to our customers, and there it is. Pinhole Pro S is lighter, wider, and easy to take sharper pictures.  But it's a different story to Pinhole Pro X. The need is to make a first-ever zoomable pinhole lens, designed specifically for video production and art photography. As a compromise, the aperture has been fixed. But it's worth it when it comes to taking photos/videos without moving one step to shoot far away. So if you would like to experience changeable apertures in pinhole photographs, please search Pinhole Pro lens. Moreover, please look forward to our next product and you will be surprised.

Dark corner issue
It is often said that light comes with shadow. The pinhole lens embodies a foundational concept in photography- the camera obscura, in other words, images, are produced through a tiny hole. It's normal to see a dark corner appear since the light gets to the sensor and is formed as a circle, not a square. To reduce such cases, please ensure you are shooting in sufficient light.

Full-framed Supported?
The field of view (FOV) in Pinhole Pro S is up to 120°. Nevertheless, it's rather a wide-angle pinhole lens than a full coverage lens. We've broken the challenge to make it the widest lens in the pinhole lens series but there is still room to support the full-frame camera. But for APS-C and APS-H cameras, you will get a satisfying wide field without any doubts.

Can't see the image on the camera
Shooting on a pinhole lens will result in darker images than the typical digital lens because the light comes through the tiny pinhole to the sensor and form an image. When you are not able to see the image on the camera, please make sure you shoot with sufficient light which is the top priority no matter in photograph or videography. Meanwhile, please try to adjust the shutter button speeds and ISO on the camera set to change the brightness and contrast till you reach a satisfactory result.

The noise of image/video
There are going to be noises when taking pictures/videos with pinhole lenses despite the exposure time. If you found them annoying, you may remove them by photoshop, etc. But if you take a good look into the old pictures, it's the noise that gives it decoration and brings a more vintage effect to the image. The combination of graininess and haziness on the notion is exactly what the Thingyfy pinhole lenses want to present.

Dust on sensor
Thingyfy Pinhole lens is made without glass. Thus the chance to get dust on the sensor is higher than on regular camera lenses. Daily use of lenses like changing and removing from the camera will also increase the rate. To keep away from your sensor, our advice is:
1)To add a UV filter in front threads as a protective coat, which is now on sale by searching UV filter.
2)To clean the sensor by using an air blower as part of typical maintenance.

Good help in outdoor photographing
Pinhole photograph is born to be shot outdoor. 2 things would become your best outdoor partner:
1) UV filter mentioned above, to prevent dust and water.
2) EVA case, to keep your small essentials safe and tidy. Note: Wearing the UV Filter in a well-lit environment will cause a red ring reflection from the pinhole lens. To avoid an unpleasant moment, please try not to shoot directly strong light. But it'd be also a joy to create bizarre lens flares.

Comes to an End

The charm of a pinhole photograph is its elusiveness. Do remember to set yourself free. Then go out and have fun!!!
